Philadelphia Green Roof Tax Credit Program

A green roof system is an extension of the existing roof which involves a high quality water proofing and root repellant system, a drainage system, filter cloth, a lightweight growing medium and plants. Bill No. 070072 was passed by Philadelphia City Council on March 29, 2007 and signed by the Mayor on April 12, 2007. Those seeking a Green Roof Tax Credit must file an application with the City of Philadelphia Revenue Department. Join us for a discussion with Joseph F. Procopio Jr., MS, CPA. Mr. Procopio is a Tax & Revenue Conferee assigned to the Technical Advisory Staff of the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Revenue. Prior to his current position, Mr. Procopio was attached to the Department’s Executive Office where he worked on several special projects. Mr. Procopio earned his Master of Science degree (Taxation) from Philadelphia University.
