Demand for Hybrid Cars Growing

According to a new study published by Pike Research, 48% of Americans would be interested in buying a hybrid vehicle.  Consumers seem to be getting more comfortable with hybrid technology, and as oil prices continue to fluctuate, buyers continue to move away from gas guzzlers.  According to this article from Barron's last, oil consumption in the U.S. peaked in 2007, and has been on a steady decline since then.
