Each semester the MSSD students share their studio work with the larger community. Students will be exhibiting their design projects from the spring semester. The focus will be on the design of zero energy school buildings for a site in Southwest Philadelphia. The studio seeks to explore new methods of design education that feature integrated design process, authentic interdisciplinary design, and an emphasis on quantitative support for specific financial, environmental and energy benchmarks. The disciplines represented in the studio class include: Engineers, interior designers, architects, landscape architects, educators, and others in the career change process.
