Diana Waters is the president and founder of MayaMarc, Inc., a diversity consulting firm based in Philadelphia. She has provided seminars and workshops on diversity for corporations, non-profit organizations and in public and private school settings. Diana is a full time faculty member at The Philadelphia Center, teaching the City Seminar Education and Difference. For many years she taught the Africanist Perspectives in Literature Elective Course for the Philadelphia Center. Diana has been with The Philadelphia Center since 1987 and has been involved with education reform since 1984. Diana is also adjunct faculty in Goddard College’s Individualized BA program. She has been active in school desegregation issues in the Philadelphia Public School System, and has held board membership on several education funds and community organizations serving diverse populations. She earned her ED.D. at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara.
