New Travel Calculator


Here's a new calculator that compares flying to driving by looking at: time, cost and CO2e emissions.

What do you think? Are the numbers accurate?
FYI: The calculation above is one I created.

This website is so interesting but I don't understand on what basis it calculates the costs!! any suggestions prof Fryer?

I just tried to calculate a trip between dc and seattle and it turned out that I will have to pay $1800 to drive given the fact that im staying in hotels that do not cost over $75/ night for three nights...
