First year students in the MSSD and Construction Management programs were treated to a beautiful (but chilly) daytime tour with sustainability expert and architect Muscoe Martin at Morris Arboretum's new education complex in Chestnut Hill. Rain chains, massive cisterns, intensive green roof plantings, well placed day lighting, reclaimed wood, floor heating, and other innovative EEMs made this project a beautiful example of sustainable architecture and landscaping.
