The Business of Ambition, the Five Winds International and the Drexel Student Consulting Group will host "Leveraging Sustainability to Create and Protect Value" on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Leonard Pearlstein Business Learning Center room 405 (33rd and Market Streets).
The Five Winds International is a management consulting firm that helps integrate environmental and social considerations into the core business activities of organizations. The four main consulting service lines are: sustainability and corporate social responsibility; management systems for continuous improvement; and climate change and product sustainability. Seminar attendees will help their organizations leverage sustainability and CSR initiatives to protect value through the better management of risks and create value through the identification of opportunities to reduce costs, attract investment and expand markets.
Sustainability strategist Libby Bernick is the guest speaker. Bernick is a senior consultant with Five Winds International. She helps business leaders use environmental information to create and execute new sustainability strategies that drive product improvement and business growth, by drawing on more than 25 years of experience with new product development, operations and marketing.
