Google’s PowerMeter is a free energy monitoring tool that allows households to measure their energy usage as well as their costs. By combining the meter with Blue Line’s PowerCost Monitor, users will now be able to view their home’s energy consumption from anywhere online. The setup includes features such as tracking energy over time, always-on power, predicting costs, budget tracking, and community sharing.
