Philadelphia University was selected as one of the “Best Value Schools” in the country in U.S. News and World Report’s annual list of top universities.

The 2012 list places PhilaU among the top 15 regional universities in U.S. News’ north region in terms of providing a high quality, low cost education. The distinction recognized Philadelphia University’s exceptional combination of financial aid, low tuition and academic excellence.
“We are thrilled to be recognized as an institution where students receive an outstanding education at a competitive price,” said Christine Greb, dean of enrollment management. “Just as our students are learning how to create value in their future careers, we know they expect to receive a high value from their investment in an engaged professional education here at Philadelphia University. Being included on this list only affirms our commitment to that goal.”
The U.S. News list shows that more than 75 percent of students at PhilaU receive need-based grants.
